(16 June 2025) The EU Business Hub programme successfully concluded its ‘Green and Low-Carbon Technologies Korea 2025’ business mission.

The event, held on 11 and 12 June, brought together European and Korean companies specialised in green and low-carbon technologies to explore global business opportunities and foster potential partnerships. European companies visited Seoul to present their cutting-edge technologies and innovative capabilities across a wide range of areas, including circularity, clean energy technologies, energy systems, and environmental monitoring analysis and assessment equipment.

During the business mission, participating companies showcased their technologies, solutions and products, and engaged in one-on-one business meetings to discuss potential areas of collaboration and identify opportunities for business expansion. The event, held from 19-21 March, was organised to create opportunities for Korean companies, and EU SMEs and start-ups in the healthcare and medical equipment sector to explore global business prospects and establish partnerships. European companies with cutting-edge healthcare and medical device solutions visited Seoul to showcase their innovative technological capabilities across various fields including assistive technologies, telemedicine and remote health monitoring, medical equipment, regenerative medicine, information and communication technologies (ICT) for healthcare, and artificial intelligence (AI) applications in healthcare.

Through the event’s business exhibition, participating companies explored each other's technologies, solutions, and products, discussing potential collaborations and seeking opportunities for business expansion through B2B matchmaking meetings. This event will provide an opportunity for European and Korean companies to engage in discussions and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere. Key local business stakeholders will also be invited to attend.

On Thursday 20 March, the EU companies will visit the 40^th Korea International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES 2025) at COEX in Seoul, where they will explore the latest medical technologies and products from participating companies and seek potential collaboration possibilities with Korean companies.

The EU Business Hub Programme aims to facilitate meetings between European companies and a diverse range of Korean companies and offers Korean companies prospects to expand their global network.

"The European companies participating in this Business Mission to Seoul will showcase their technological expertise and innovative edge in the Healthcare & Medical Equipment sector” said Ms Bello Tanith, Programme Officer at the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Korea. "The ‘Healthcare and Medical Equipment Korea 2025’ is meant to provide an opportunity for Korean companies to connect with EU SMEs and start-ups, and, hopefully, enable such B2B matches to develop into new concrete business collaborations."

(2025년 2월 17일) EU 비즈니스 허브(EU Business Hub) 프로그램의 일환으로 개최되는 '헬스케어∙의료기기 코리아 2025'(Healthcare and Medical Equipment Korea 2025) 전시상담회가 오는 3월 19일(수)부터 21일(금)까지 3일간 그랜드 인터컨티넨탈 서울 파르나스에서 진행될 예정이다.

오키드룸에서 개최되는 비즈니스 전시회에는 보조 기술, 의료 장비, 헬스케어 ICT 및 AI, 원격 건강 모니터링 및 진료, 나노기술, 재생 의학 및 조직 공학 등 다양한 분야에서 최대 50개에 달하는 유럽의 유망 중소기업 및 스타트업이 최첨단 헬스케어·의료기기 솔루션을 선보일 예정이다.

3월 20일(목)에는 유럽 기업들이 서울 코엑스에서 열리는 제40회 국제의료기기∙병원설비전시회(KIMES 2025)에 방문해 참여 기업들의 최신 의료 기술 및 제품을 살펴보고 국내 기업과의 협력 가능성을 모색할 예정이다.
